LYNN BELLES, ALA
Lynn Belles has been a part of the Belles Architecture Design Team for 25 years. Yes, She is Rob’s wife, who has a background in graphic design and printing (a one dimensional or FLAT version of Architectural design). Her CAD drawings are no less than a work of ART! She loves home remodeling projects and working with her hands. On a weekend summer day you can find her OUTSIDE working in the yard or, on the house – unless she is traveling to some adventurous or exotic destination!
Lynn appreciates the climb to the top of the Acropolis in Athens Greece! It’s important to get enough exercise when you sit at a desk most days. I understand that being active and doing physical labor keeps me STRONG and enhances the quality of my life. We call our international adventures “Travel Like an Architect™” 2-3 time a year we ditch our desks, trading them for a Cruise Travel adventure somewhere in the world. Years ago we began cruising because it allows us to stay in touch with our business and even work remotely when necessary.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER – BIO
Lynn Belles is the other of two idea machines at Belles Firm of Architecture, Inc. Lynn’s design work is usually related to the APPEARANCE of a project, like selecting colors and materials for interiors and exteriors. She also works on the technical / functional aspect of the Architectural Design; planning how Mechanical and Electrical systems will serve the occupants of the space. Lynn creates landscaping plans for submission to the Zoning Appeals Board and Liquor Advisory Board. She is particularly fond of solving each puzzle of Existing Documentation (ED = measure-up and draft your building into CAD). Lynn specializes in systematizing processes for periodic inspections and remote training.
Lynn’s CAD drafting indicates that she has throught through the design, even to the point of considering the line of sight from the confines of the room to above the dropped ceiling over the Bar.
Lynn monitors and develops the firms business/office management systems. Keeping a watchful eye on revenue and cash flow will ensure the longevity of any business. Lynn has developed a system whereby all income is pre-allocated by percentage to certain forces, specifically intended to achieve a particular lifestyle, tied to security and wealth building goals. She believes that this is “money management”, the opposite of “being managed by your money”. It would be easy to find an Architecture Firm with “cash flow issues” but truthfully, not advisable. Using an Architect with a sound cash flow management system designed for comfort and security, frees up their creative forces to serve you at their highest and best ability! This does mean we always ask for an up-front retainer before starting your project. Remember – no one can do QUALITY work for free!
